How to register to use the online boat reservation system
If you are a new member of the Boathouse, or just new to reserving one of the club’s shared boats, here’s all you need to know about getting started.
Be sure you have read About reserving shared boats first.
Registration
- You will have received the link to the registration page when you joined the Boathouse. Browse to that link.
- Complete the registration form. Note that you must use a valid email address as your login.
- Your display name can be anything 15 characters or fewer. Consider using your first initial and your last name, like “S Crozier”. This helps everyone know at a glance who’s rowing, in case someone needs to contact you.
- When you enter your password hint, remember that it will be displayed for anyone who knows your email address, so make it something that clues you in, but does not give away your password to anyone else.
Once you are registered, you get to the new res system the same way you got to the old—through the link on the home page of this web site.
That is it. You are signed up and ready to reserve a boat.
At the signin page, enter your login email and your password and click Submit. You will be taken to the reservation screen for the current day to actually make your reservation. See Using the reservation system for details.
